The Montgomery County Coin Club will meet Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at 7 p.m. at the Margaret Schweinhaut Senior Center, 1000 Forest Glen Road, Silver Spring.
The March program is a U.S. 20th century minor circulating coinage (cents, nickels, dimes, quarters, halves) trivia game. There will be ten questions, with prizes for the quickest correct answer. Rewards will range from a 20th century silver dollar to 20th century silver dimes. Contestants may only win one prize.
In addition to the program, there will be a monthly auction consisting of a mix of U.S. and foreign coins, as well as other interesting numismatic items. Anyone in attendance may bid on the lots. Members will receive the auction list with their monthly bulletin.
In addition to the program and auction there will be member exhibits and snacks.
