The Montgomery County Coin Club will meet Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at 7:15 p.m. at the Margaret Schweinhaut Senior Center, 1000 Forest Glen Road, Silver Spring. Meetings are open to members and non-members alike.
The weather forecast for Tuesday afternoon calls for a winter storm. If the center is closed there will be no meeting. Please check Alert Montgomery for the status of the Center.
For our February meeting, Ken Swab will give a talk and PowerPoint presentation on Civil War (and other eras) Brewery Tokens.
In addition to the program, there will be a monthly auction consisting of a mix of U.S. and foreign coins, as well as other interesting numismatic items. Anyone in attendance may bid on the lots. Members will receive the auction list with their monthly bulletin. Non-members may bid on lots, but only members may submit items for auction. Searchable results for auctions from 2022 to the present are available on the website under the “Auctions” tab..
As always, snacks will be available.
