The Montgomery County Coin Club will meet Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at 7 p.m. at the Margaret Schweinhaut Senior Center, 1000 Forest Glen Road, Silver Spring. That is Election Day evening, but the center is open as usual.
The November program will feature a 15-20 minute presentation on “The Mint that flew both Union and Confederate flags.” It will be an informative discussion of the history, operations and issues of the “O” (New Orleans) Mint.
Please remember to bring items for the December Donated Auction. The auction will be in honor of Scott Barman, and the proceeds will benefit one of Scott’s favorite charities, the Humane Society of the United States.
In addition to the presentation, we will have member exhibits, refreshments and an auction.
