The Montgomery County Coin Club will meet Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at 7:15 p.m. at the Margaret Schweinhaut Senior Center, 1000 Forest Glen Road, Silver Spring. Meetings are open to members and non-members alike.
The club will hold its annual donated auction at the Tuesday, December 10 meeting. Please bring lots you wish to donate to the auction to the November meeting or contact Jack Schadegg at schadeggjack@gmail.com to make arrangements for your item donation. Cash donations may be via PayPal to montgomerycoin@gmail.com, by check to Montgomery County Coin Club, Post Office Box 13504, Silver Spring, MD 20911, or at a meeting to Treasurer Simcha Kuritzky. Donations are tax deductible to the extent authorized by law. The local charity chosen to receive the proceeds of the auction will be announced at the November meeting. Previous recipients have included the Humane Society of Montgomery County, MANNA Food Center, and the Potomac Council of the Boy Scouts.

In addition to the program, there will be a monthly auction consisting of a mix of U.S. and foreign coins, as well as other interesting numismatic items. Anyone in attendance may bid on the lots. Members will receive the auction list with their monthly bulletin. Non-members may bid on lots, but only members may submit items for auction.
