Next Meeting: Tuesday, June 4, 2024
The Montgomery County Coin Club will meet Tuesday, June 4th, 2024 (tomorrow), at 7 p.m. at the Margaret Schweinhaut Senior Center, 1000 Forest Glen Road, Silver Spring. Note that this is a week earlier than our typical meeting night.

The MCCC June program will be a presentation given by Simcha Kuritzky on banknotes from around the world featuring felines on them.

May Program – Patsy Mink Quarters

For our May meeting, Ken Swab presented a PowerPoint presentation on Patsy Mink, the congresswoman featured on a recent 2024 quarter as part of the American Women quarter series. The presentation touched on Mink’s career in congress, her role in passing Title IX, and why the mint made two “errors” in the design of the coin.

Thanks to Mary Robertson for providing a delicious and abundant selection of refreshments.
