From 1866 through 1873, the U.S. Mint produced both the silver Seated Liberty Half Dime and the Shield nickel. Both coins were worth 5-cents in commerce but their joint production tells an interesting story. For our July meeting, MCCC’s newest YN member Gregory Vanderham will provide us the historical information behind this part of numismatic history.

Doors will open at 7:00 PM and the meeting will start at 7:15 PM SHARP.
