The program for our next meeting will feature Martin Solano talking about his research into “The Use of Coins in Archaeological Dating: An Example from the Albany County Almshouse Cemetery.” The Albany County Almshouse Cemetery served as a potter’s field for the County of Albany from 1826 to 1926. Over 1200 burials were recovered from the cemetery in 2002. Coins and other artifacts in the burials were instrumental in determining when many of these individuals died.

Doors will open at 7:00 PM and the meeting will start at 7:15 PM SHARP.
